It feels weird to have them in the same place away from home.

It's a great car. Barely had any issues, and it gets good mileage too.

Fun fact: there are probably a few Nissan branded parts in the Forester.
I haven't found any in mine so far, but my mom's '15 has Nissan branded bolt caps under the hood.
The Z and the Forester look good together.

I typically pay about about a dollar less in NM.

Those cars only need one thing, each.
1: The Z32 needs the headers above the rear hatch and above the windshield blacked out, even just with gloss black vinyl. (vinyl wrap can be removed, and as such, completely reversible to stock... but I have no idea why Nissan thought it was a good idea to leave those segments body-color.) The 99-spec front bumper is a nice choice, also, but the OE front bumper is nice, as-is.
2: Forester... a bit more complicated.
A WRX STI drivetrain swap. EJ257, DCCD-6MT, R180 torsen rear diff, big brembo brakes, and 5x114.3 hubs, with forged bronze-colored wheels. The drivetrain swap has been done, and it works.
